The wood is 9 miles long and 6 broad. This manor and it's appendages provides one night's entertainment for the King, with all uſual cuſtoms. The lands of three Thanes are reckoned in this manor, which they held T.R.E. Earl William gave them in Ambleſberie in exchange for Bovecome.
