"Ira Lowe, a tailor … married in New York City in 1894 … After leaving her, Lowe entered into a marriage, it is alleged, with a woman whom she firmly believes to be Miss Anna Lindauer, also of New York. The real Mrs. Lowe's first intimation of her husband's whereabouts, or that he was again married was a notice of the birth of a child to Mr. and Mrs. Ira Lowe of Cortland, which she says she saw in a newspaper."
