Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi

And the sky and the herald. |
Waalssama-i waalttariqi
|
| 086:002 |
And do you know what the herald is? |
Wama adraka ma alttariqu
|
| 086:003 |
The piercing star. |
Alnnajmu alththaqibu
|
| 086:004 |
Every soul has a recorder over it. |
In kullu nafsin lamma AAalayha hafithun
|
| 086:005 |
So let man see from what he was created. |
Falyanthuri al-insanu mimma khuliqa
|
| 086:006 |
He was created from water that gushes forth. |
Khuliqa min ma-in dafiqin
|
| 086:007 |
It comes out from between the spine and the testicles. |
Yakhruju min bayni alssulbi waalttara-ibi
|
| 086:008 |
For He is able to bring him back. |
Innahu AAala rajAAihi laqadirun
|
| 086:009 |
The Day when all is revealed. |
Yawma tubla alssara-iru
|
| 086:010 |
Then he will not have any power or victor. |
Fama lahu min quwwatin wala nasirin
|
| 086:011 |
And the sky which gives rain. |
Waalssama-i thati alrrajAAi
|
| 086:012 |
And the land with small cracks. |
Waal-ardi thati alssadAAi
|
| 086:013 |
This is the word that separates matters. |
Innahu laqawlun faslun
|
| 086:014 |
And it is not a thing for amusement. |
Wama huwa bialhazli
|
| 086:015 |
They are scheming their schemes. |
Innahum yakeedoona kaydan
|
| 086:016 |
And I scheme a scheme. |
Waakeedu kaydan
|
| 086:017 |
So respite the rejecters, respite them for a while. |
Famahhili alkafireena amhilhum ruwaydan
|
