Usage edit
This template allows editors to link to Wikipedia without having always to use a second parameter.
An optional second parameter, if supplied, changes the appearance of the link.
It is also helpful when the pipe character "|" might interfere with conditional statements (see Conditional tables)
Example edit
{{w|United States}}(United States) is equivalent to[[w:United States|United States]](United States).
