Re: The Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, Senate,
House of Representatives, and Council of Ministers coming to an end;
the Privy Councillors and courts throughout the Country remaining operative as usual


Whereas, as earlier announced, the National Peace Keeping Council which is composed of army officers, navy officers, air force officers, police officers, and civilians has jointly seized and taken control of the administrative power of the Country already; therefore, in order to bring about order in the Country, the National Peace Keeping Council orders that the following be done:

  1. The Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, 2521 Buddhist Era, and its amendments, shall come to an end.
  2. The Senate, House of Representatives, and Council of Ministers shall come to an end together with this Constitution.
  3. The Privy Councillors shall remain in their positions and continue to perform their duties.
  4. All the courts shall remain empowered to try and adjudicate upon cases in accordance with the provisions of law and announcements of the National Peace Keeping Council.
