Shechting with a white-hot knife

השוחט בסכין מלובנת

Contains one Seif.

ובו סעיף אחד:

Seif 1

If he shechted with a white-hot knife, his shechita is invalid. But some say it's kosher (if he knows it's white-hot and is careful to not touch those sides).

אם שחט בסכין מלובנת – שחיטתו פסולה. ויש מכשירין (אם ידע שהיא מלובנת ונזהר שלא נגע בצדדים).
