My wiki introduction was through docs.moodle.org, where I was very active from 2006 to 2011. I continue to contributor to wikipedia, under the same user name HERE. My primary interests are in West Africa, Navajo and History of the US Southwest pre 1800, and pre 1800 American History. I have spent hours reviewing over 50,000 pages copied from the National Archives, at the Navajo Tribal Museum (Research Section) looking for references to Navajo Scouts as part of my BA thesis.

My Notes edit

In April 2017, I was initially drawn here looking for the Navajo Treaty of 1868. Evidently I was here before. Saw the treaty translation was in OCR format I had a copy in Word that was a bit more user friendly to read and copy.

Learned a few things why wikisourse is a bit different that Wikipedia because of helpful comments. Please keep them comming.

I like the Next and Previous page links in the header and footer. Will check to see if that is acceptable. Saves changing the URL.

  • page 699 is the first page, see that I did not add the next page link
  • page 700| has the feature

Here is the goal for the Navajo Treaty pages:
