Examples show solutions to complicated or atypical texts.

Each help page should include:

  • A summary of proper notation. A link to a template explanation if it is a template. A link to a HTML explanation if it is HTML. A link to wiki explanation if it is. m:Help:HTML_in_wikitext
  • In a <pre></pre> box, a generic example such as can be cut and pasted usefully. And immediately below, the same example wikied.
  • A full explanation of context, use and parameters; known issues and bugs.
