How we will see unregistered users
Hi!
You get this message because you are an admin on a Wikimedia wiki.
When someone edits a Wikimedia wiki without being logged in today, we show their IP address. As you may already know, we will not be able to do this in the future. This is a decision by the Wikimedia Foundation Legal department, because norms and regulations for privacy online have changed.
Instead of the IP we will show a masked identity. You as an admin will still be able to access the IP. There will also be a new user right for those who need to see the full IPs of unregistered users to fight vandalism, harassment and spam without being admins. Patrollers will also see part of the IP even without this user right. We are also working on better tools to help.

We have two suggested ways this identity could work. We would appreciate your feedback on which way you think would work best for you and your wiki, now and in the future. You can let us know on the talk page. You can write in your language. The suggestions were posted in October and we will decide after 17 January.

Fables and Parables
On 30 Janaury 2018 you deleted my English translations of Fables and Parables by Ignacy Krasicki from Wikisource because of an inadequate copyright notice (GFDL). [1]
These translations, prior to deletion, were approvingly reproduced on internet sites. I would like to make them once again available to readers of Wikipedia and Wikisource by restoring them as they were prior to deletion, including my (the translator's) civilian name – now with an appropriate copyright notice.
It is my understanding that the appropriate notices are CC-BY-SA-3.0 and CC-BY-SA-4.0. What are the essential differences between them? Which would you recommend for this article?
I would greatly appreciate your kind response at my Wikipedia talk page (please see link, below) and the restoration of "Fables and Parables".

- @Nihil novi: This situation is similar to that of On Discoveries and Inventions: We need to resolve the licensing; locate a scan of the original; make sure it has been fully proofread on the Wikisource for the original language (Polish?); and then proofread it against the scan here and transclude it on a page in the Translation: namespace. Beleg Tâl is busy in real life and may not be able to respond quickly, but I can try to assist you in the mean time as we did for On Discoveries and Inventions.PS. As we discussed in 2020, we need to keep discussions about Wikisource transcriptions on Wikisource to preserve history and context, but I'll shortly pop over to Wikipedia and post a notification of this response there. As with On Discoveries and Inventions, if you agree, I suggest we move this discussion over to your user talk page here on English Wikisource (User talk:Nihil novi) so that you can choose to get email notifications whenever a new message is posted (and so that Beleg Tâl doesn't get notified all the time). --Xover (talk) 06:43, 23 May 2022 (UTC)

Gday. There are works on the author pages that lead to version pages created by you, though they seem to be specific references to the works in the published journals. Might be worth putting in specific links. — billinghurst sDrewth 02:56, 30 October 2022 (UTC)
