improvements

If I edit your pages I will try to remember to use a summary, explaining what is going on. I find it easier to show by example, provide a link and I can demonstrate a solution. Looks like an interesting work, hope you are enjoying it. cygnis insignis 19:54, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

I saw that you had used some wiki headings, and generally within works we now tend to steer away from that style of formatting. It generally puts in a TOC that doesn't represent the work, and just makes editing a little weird in the Page: namespace, where a pageful of text is not significant anyway.

Our philosophy is that the words are king, and a facsimile copy of a book is not the intent, where there are title pages and the like, we look to put some effort to reproduce the look of the work. — billinghurst sDrewth 23:01, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

A couple of little watchouts. Watch for the gap between quotes and the start of the text, OCR is notorious for spacing them out. As there seems to be a number of typos in the original book, you may wish to look to use {{SIC}}, either like {{SIC|produes}} (result produes) or {{SIC|produes|produces}} (result produes). That becomes contributor's choice, and I have done some in the former style.

You may also wish to consider some light wikilinks through to WP, eg. first or significant mention of a place name or person or subject can be worth linking through to the article at Wikipedia, eg. [[w:Scioto|]] will produce Scioto. Anyway, just some thoughts for your consideration. — billinghurst sDrewth 23:17, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
