Category:British Speeches edit
Hi Road Wizard,
I'm not sure it would be worthwhile use of time to split up the British Speeches category chronologically. We already have all speeches listed chronologically on Portal:Speeches & it's associated pages. I've never been convinced that categories are the best method for listing our sources anyway, for speeches at least I prefer to use straightforward listing. That said if someone wanted to introduce chronological categorisation for the speeches it would probably go a long way to improving the categories. The fact that a lot of these are locked would be a problem but as far as I know the locking doesn't affect bots. Bookofjude is working on a bot that can read dates User_talk:Bookofjude#Bot_question so once its up & running I'd expect it to be able to handle this fairly easily.
