Author on American Convention on Human Rights

Hey there, I noticed you did a revert on an edit I made to override the author on American Convention on Human Rights. I added the override because we do not have Author pages for organizations, this way we could point it to the portal for the United States. Did I misunderstand the organization that published this or is there another way we can resolve the redlink? Marjoleinkl (talk) 08:11, 16 February 2017 (UTC)

@Marjoleinkl: The w:Organization of American States is an international organization including 35 countries. I don't think it would be appropriate for the link to point to one particular member state. --Yair rand (talk) 08:13, 16 February 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for letting me know, I completely misunderstood/misread the author. I will add a plain override without linking to any particular portal. And will add the interwiki link to the organization to the description of the text. Sound ok to you? Marjoleinkl (talk) 08:18, 16 February 2017 (UTC)
