DANTI, THEODORA,
An Italian artist, was born at Perugiain 1498, and died there in 1573. She painted small pictures in the manner of Pietro Perugino, in an excellent style. She also excelled in mathematics, in which science she instructed one of her nephews, who, with his aunt, acquired great reputation for learning.
