A Dictionary of All Religions and Religious Denominations/Dursians

*DURSIANS or Duruzians, a fierce people inhabiting the wilds of mount Libanus, and in the eleventh century engaged in the holy war. There is evidence, that they embraced the general profession of Christianity; but their peculiar tenets were kept so secret, that they cannot now be ascertained with certainty; it is probable however that they were Manicheans.[1]
