GIMGIMNO, CITY OF. One of the iniquitous cities of the Nephites, whose inhabitants had persecuted, cast out and slain the prophets and saints of the Lord, and for that cause was destroyed by being sunk, with all its sin-stained citizens, in the great earthquakes, etc., that convulsed this continent when Jesus was crucified. Hills and valleys occupied the place where Gimgitnno had before stood. (III Nephi, 9:8).
