A Dictionary of the Book of Mormon/Solomon

SOLOMON. The name of this great king is mentioned seven times in the Book of Mormon. Three times in connection with the temple he built in Jerusalem. (II Nephi, 5:16.) Three times in Jacob's address to the Nephites regarding polygamy, etc. (Jacob, 1:15; 2:23, 24.) And once by the Redeemer in the well-known passage in which he compares the lilies of the field with the glory of Solomon. (III Nephi, 13:29.)
