POUNCET, or POUNCE (JOHN), bookseller (?) in London, (1) Lower end of Budge Row neere Canning [i.e., Cannon] Street; (2) Hand and Bible lower end of Budge Row neer Dowgate. 1646-7. His name is found in the imprints to the two following pamphlets: Certain Queries touching the ordination of ministers. By. A. W., 1647, 4o, and Vox Populi, 1646, 4o. [Hazlitt, i. 440.]
