RHODES (MATTHEW), (?) printer in London; (?) Over against St. Andrews Church in Holborn, 1642. His name is found on the imprint to a pamphlet entitled Declaration or Remonstrance of the Office of a Prince. London, Printed by John Hammond and Math. Rhodes, 1642. [E. 108 (38).] A bookseller of this name was publishing between 1622 and 1633 [Arber, v. ciii.], but whether he is to be identified with the above is not known.
