Yeb. 76a שערתא ד׳ a real barley corn it must be (nothing else). Men. 30a ד׳ שיטה באמצע only in the middle of a line. -- Gitl. 4d4a ד׳ לאו או ד׳ is this meant exactly (one hundred), or not exactly? דוקייא m. pl. (δοκια, pl. of δοκιον) beams of the ceiling. Lam. R. to I, 1 רבתי (נש בר חד, an oneirocritical interpret. of Kappadokia) AAappa in Greek is tweny, קורות בל״י ד׳ (not דיקיא) dokia in Greek is beamis; v. דיקא.

דוקני, דיקני f. (denom. of דקןו; adopted in Hebr.) trimming shears on a pole. Y. Maasr. III, end, 51a היתה בד׳ ניטלת if the fruit is taken off with trimming shears (by a person standing outside the garden). Ib. צור צור וכ׳ דוקניתך wrap well up (keep well thy question about) the pruner (sophistical as it is), it is better than anya thing(the Agadistshave to say). -- Tosef. Kel. B. Mets. דוקרא m. ch. (דקר) fork-like reed, opp. to קני plain stems; prop. Pl. דוקרין, דוקרי. Succ. 13a דקני ד׳ the pm onged reeds (corresp. to אפקותא of the palm-tree, Rashi). Lev. R. s. 12.
דוקרן, דקרן m. h. same, fork, fork-like reed, pronged pole. Y. Erub. I, 18c וד׳ קנה reed-stem and prongs. Ib. 19c דק׳ כמין; Y. Kil. IV, 29b דוק׳ כמין; Y. Succ.I, 52a bot. דקרים כמין (v. דקר). Y. דור I (b. h.) [1) to form a circle or enclosure (v. IBl. to Levy Talm. Dict. I, p. 440a sq.). - Denom. דור II, דור, דירה &c.]. -- 2) (denom. of דירה) to reside, dwell. Ber. 8a וכ׳ ידור לעולם one must try to live in the same place with his teacher. Keth. 72a; a. fr. וכ׳ דר אדם אין, v. כפיפה. Ib. 110b בא״י הדר בל whoever lives in Palestine. --Succ. 35a (ref.to hadar, Lev. XXIII, 40) שדר דבר הדר אלא הדר א״ת וכ׳ ed.
