דיסקא (דסקא) m. (~~~~) disc (always used in the sense of tabula, tabella), 1) tablet. -- Pl. דיסקי. Men. 40a אד׳ ליכתביה (Rashi אדיסקי׳, Ms. R. 2 a. K. אר׳) let it be published on public tablets (inscriptions; comment.; in official letters from Palestine to Babylon, v. infra). -- 2) official document, letter. B. Kam. 112b וכ׳ מבד ד׳ נקיט (M. M. ריסקא, v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note) he held a letter from the Supreme Court (authorizing him to take depo- sitions of witnesses). Kidd 70a דזמינותא ד׳ Ar.
