הקריב is used &c. Ib. s. 20 they died ה׳ ועל הקריבה על (=הה) for coming near (Lev. XVII, 1) and for offering (Lev. X, 1); a. fr. -- 2) drawing nigh for attack. Ex. R. s. 21 פרעה הקרבת (Ex. XIV, 10).
הקריה, הקרייה f. (קרה Hif.) preparation, arrange- ment. sirra Nmm. 159; Yalk. ib. 787 (interpret. הקריתם, Num. XXXV, 11).
הקש, v. היק׳.
הקשה f. (נקש) clapping, knocking together. Snh. 65a זרועותיו הקשת the clapping of his (the necromancer's) arms; Ker. 3b. -- Pl. הקשות. Ib. (Snh. l. c. always sing.).
הר (הרר) m. (b. h.; הרר) mound, mountain; trnsf. eminent person. Midd. II, 1, a. fr. הבית הר the Temple mount. Yeb. 17 (play on הרפניא) בו פונין שהכל הר a. hill to which all turn (whose spurious descent prevents them from getting wives elsewhere); a. v. fr. -- Hull. 39b (in Chald. diction) והר רישיך here is thy head and here the mountain (a colloquial phrase for compelling one to give up a bargain). -- Ex. RR. s. 28 (ref. to Ex. XIX, 3) בזכות הה׳ for the merit of the distinguished one (Abraham), אבות אלא הה׳ ואין har means the patriarchs (ref. to Mic. VI, 2). Snh. 107a שבכם ה׳ the most prominent of you; a. fr. -- [For proper nouns commposed with הר, v. respec- tive determinants. - Pl. הרים, הררים. הרג (b. h.) [to cut, v. הרג,] to kill, put to death. Num. R. s. 21, beg. להרגו השכם להרגך בא if one comes to kil thee, be the first to kill him; Ber. 58a; Snh. 72a . . להורגך להורגו. qitt. 56b עצמו את ה׳ כסבור he (Titus) thought he had killed himself (euphem. for the Lord); a. v. fr. -- Parf. pass. הרוג. Tosef. Gitt. V III), 1 מלחמה לפני שנהרגו הרוגין מלחמה ובשעת (ed. Zuck. בשעת) those executed (by the Roman government) before and during the Vespasian war; Y. Gitt. הרגל m. (רגל, v. רגיל) 1) habit; לשון ה׳ habit of the tongue, fluency acזquired by memorizing. Koh. R. to VI, 9. -- 2) leading to, occasion for. עבירה ה׳ מפני because it offers an occasion for sin. Sabb. I, 3; Pes. 30a; 36a; a. e. --Ab. Zar. 17a דבר ה׳ (euphem.) preliminaries of sexual connection.

הרגשה f. (רגש, Hif.) sensation, perception, sensuous afection. Nidd. 43a בה׳ נעקרה he felt the effusion coming,. בה׳ שלא ויצתה but the discharge was not perceived. Ib. 57b וכ׳ מי הרגשת the sensation of discharging urin; a. fr. Yalk. Jud. 42 וה׳ ה׳ לכל to every sense. -- Pl. הרגשות senses. Num. R. s. 14 מורגשות וחמש ה׳ חמש כנגד cor- responding to the five senses and the five perceptions.
