Pes. 66bוכ׳ המתיהר כלwhoever is boastful, if he iis wise, his wisdom will desert him &c. B. Bath. 10b שאין בו להתיהר אלא עושין they do good only to boast them- selves thereof; וכ׳ המתיהר וכל and whoever boasts, falls a prey to Gehenna.
