מגגא m. (preced.) solution, maceration. - Pl. מגגי. Pes. 107a מ׳ תליסר בר שיכרא Ar. (ed. מגני, Ms. M. אגני; Ms. M. 2 מגאגי; Ms. O. מגאני) a date beer of thirteen solutions (the same water poured over thirteen basins of crushed dates in succession).

*מגוב m. (גבב) rake, an agricultural implement with many teeth, forming a sort of sieve to separate the grain from the chaff. Kel. XIII, 7; T'bul Yom IV, 6; [Ar. s. v. a sort of glove, oth. expl.. reading מגרב, fr. נגב, an im- plement for drying the grain by winnowing].
