IV, 1 וכ׳ מטין ממונות דיני in civil law a majority of one decides in favor or against (the claimant), וככ מטין נפשות ודיני in criminal law a. majority of one decides in favor of the defendant, but for a verdict against the defendant a majority of two is required, v. הטיה.
