פרזומא, פיר׳ m. (פרזם) juice, brewage, 1) beer of figs, thorns &c. Pes. 107a וכ׳ דבעאי פ׳ ומה Ar. (ed. פיר׳; Ms. M. פורזימא, Ms. M. 2 פורזמא; the words in ed. a. Mss. between פ׳ a. דבעאי, are a gloss to פ׳, read as in Ms. O. ואסיבי תאיני שכר) since I asked . . even with regard to pirguma (which is superior to barley beer) &c. -- 2) פ׳ דשיכרא the second run of barley beer. פרזיליו, v. פרוילא.
פרזל (Parel of פזל) to turn, twist. thpar. איפרזל to twisd one's self, to struggle. Gitt. 68a מיפרזל קא הוה he strugled (to get rid of the chain).
פרזל, פרזלא II ורem. =h. ברזל. Targ. Esth.V, 14. Targ. Deut. VIII, 9 (O. ed. Berl. בר׳); a. fr. -- Pl. פרזלייא, פרזליה iron tools. Lev. R. s. 24 וכ׳ בפ׳ מקשין יהון (ed. WII.. בפריזלא מקשיין, corr. acc.) let them rattle with the iron tools and say &c.; בפ׳ מקשין הוון (ed. Wil. בפרזלא, corr. acc.) they rattled with &c. Y. Nidd. II, end, 50b פרזלוי חריפין his tools are sharp (he is an ingenious scholar, and does not need consultation with others, v. חדד).
פרזלא II, פ׳ טוור pr. n. pl. Tavvar Parxla (Iron Mount), name for Kadesh. Targ. Y. Num. XXXIII, 36, v. דקם.

פרח (b. h.) [to break through,] 1) to bloom, sprout. Ber. 47b, sq. פורה קטן a boy developing signs of puberty (before the usual age). Num. R.s. 18, end פ׳ ומעצמו and it (the staff) blossomed of itself (without being planted); a. fr. - Esp. (with ref. to Lev. XIII, 12) to become white, spread all over. Neg. VIII, 1 טהור הטמא מן הפורה a leprosy that ׳blossoms after the person has been declared unclean, is clean. Ib. 2 בכולו פרחה if it spread over the entire body. Ib. פרח m. (b. h.; preced.) 1) blossom, flower, an orna- ment in the shape of a flower. Gen. R. s. 91, end, v. עפתור. Kel. XI, 7 והבסיס הפ׳ the calyx of a candlestick and the shaft. Esth. R. to I, 6 וכ׳ של פרחו על ישנתי אני Islept on the flower (capital) of one of those columns, and there was room for a body at full length, with outstretched hands and feet. Men. 28b; a. fr. -- Pl. פרחים. Ib. כמין . . . פרחיה וכ׳ פרחי what did the flowers of the candlestick look like?
