(ed. קס׳; Var. in Ar. קוז׳, קז׳) a questor saw him (wearing T'fllin), and he fed before him; Yalk. Ps. 795. Tosef. Erub. VIIII(V), 4 וכ׳ לעיר הבא קצדור ed. Zuck. (Var. קסדר) when a military questor (commissary) takes up his station in a town for thirty days; Y. ib. VI, 23b bot.הקוסטור. Yalk. Esth. 1049 וכ׳ כק׳ היית ולא (some ed. כקיס׳) and thou wast not even so much as a questor (worthy) to run before my father's chariot.
קוסדריות, קסדוריות f. pl. (denom. of preced.) commission of inguiry. Midr. Sam. ch. XXV (ref. to Ps. LI, 16) [read] לאחריו ק׳ משלח דוד שהיה אוריה של מדמו היה לא דברים מפזר היה לא אילו דברים הוא מפזר אם וידעs הורגו (save me) from punishment for briah's blood, for David had sent detectives after him to find out whether he would divulge the things(that had happened between him and David); if he had not done so, he (David) would not have had him killed; Yalk.
