תרכוס m. (תרך) = טרכוס (v. טרכש), dresser, bracket, counter. Y. Sabb. I, 2d top וכ׳ עומד שהוא ת׳ a taikos (in front of a building) that stands in the public road . which is used to hand things from within to the street, and from thhe street to within. -- [Ib. תרכוסא, v. תרונוס.
תרם (denom. of תרומה) to lift, 1) to remove (ashes), clear the altar (Lev. VI, 3). Yoma II, 1 מי כל בראשונה תורם לתרום שרוצה formerly whosoever wanted tto re- move the ashes from the altar, could do it. Ib. 2 התקינו וכ׳ תורמין יהו שלא it was arranged that they should clean the altar only by lot. Y. ib. 39b bot. שח׳ זר if an outsider removed the ashes. ׳Tam. I, 2; 44; a. e. -- 2) to separate the priestly gift, to make T'rumah. Ter. I, 1 יתרומו לא חמשה וכ׳ תרמו ואם five persons should not make T'rumah, and if they did &c., v. תרומה. Ib. שלו שאינו את התורם he that separates T'rumah fromm what does not belong to him. Ib.. ישראל של את שת׳ נכרי if a gentile makes T'rumah of what belongs to an lsraelite. Ib. 4 וכ׳ השמן על זיתים תורמין אין you cannot consecrate olives as T'rumah for oil, or grapes for wine. Ib. 5 וכ׳ הלקט מן תורמין אין you are not bound to give the priestly share out of the gleanings &c.; a. fr.

תתרמיל תרמל,, ור׳ m. (teather) bag. Savb. 31a... גר ובתרמילו במקלו the mean proselyte who came with nothing but his stafff and ravelling bag (I being without merit or ancestry). Y. Shebu. VIII, 38c bot. עליה ותרמילו . . . כיון חייב as soon as he puts his staff and his bag on that animal, he becomes responsible; Tosef. B. Mets. VIII, 17. Sifra Metsor a, Zab., Par. 1, ch. II קבים חמשת התורמל a. turmel is a bag of five Kabs capacity; Kel. XX, 1. Ib. XIX, 8 וכ׳ שנפחת התו׳ a bag the inside pocket of which has become defective. Tosef. Bets.
