Bromley, Thomas (Bromeley), B.C.L. (sup. 30 April) 1560, 'a lawyer,' probably identical with Sir Thomas (2nd son of George Bromley, of Hodnet, Salop), bencher of the Inner Temple 1564, Lent reader 1566, treasurer 1573-5, solicitor-general 1569, knighted at Salop in 1578, lord chancellor 1579 (? deputy-chancellor university 1585-7), died 12 April 1587, aged 57, father of Henry 1576.
