Crofts, John, s. Thomas, of Hornton, Oxon, pleb. St. John's Coll., matric. 5 April, 1639, aged 18; B.A. from Gloucester Hall 1 Feb., 1642-3, M.A. 3 Dec., 1646, one of these names rector of Mottistone, Isle of Wight, and ejected 1662 for nonconformity, chaplain to Lady Fiennes at Newton Tony, Wilts.
