Gifford, Francis, B.A. from Queen's Coll., Cambridge*, 1650-1; incorporated as M.A. 19 Nov., 1660, vicar of Pateshull, Northants, 1661, and Dunstable 1663, resigned both 1683 because he would not take the abjuration oath, rector of Rushall, Wilts, 1682-1703; father of Charles 1692, and John 1693.
