Littleton, John, of co. Worcester, arm. Magdalen Coll., matric. entry under date 22 Dec., 1576, aged 15; student of Inner Temple 1580, as of Frankley, co. Worcester (s. Gilbert), M.P. co. Worcester 1584-5, 1586-7, 1597-8, concerned in the rebellion of the earl of Essex, convicted of high treason 21 Feb., 1600-1; died in prison 25 July following; father of Thomas 1610.
