Lovelace, Richard, 1s. William, of Woolwich, Kent, arm. Gloucester Hall, matric. 27 June, 1634, aged 16; created M.A. 31 Aug., 1636, incorporated at Cambridge 1637, "afterwards eminent for his valour and poetry," spent all his estate in the royal cause and died in Gunpowder Alley, Shoe Lane; buried in St. Bride's 1658.
