Christ Church, matric. 16 June, 1694, aged 18, student 1694, B.A. 1698, M.A. 1701, B.D. 18 March, 1707-8; D.D. from Hart Hall 1710, and principal 1710-40, founder, and 1st principal of Hertford college 1740-52, canon of Christ Church 1752, rector of Sudborough, Northants, 1704-48, rector and patron of Lavendon, Bucks; born at Yardley Park 8 Nov., 1676, and died 21 April, 1752, buried in the chancel of Lavendon church.
