Balliol Coll., matric. 8 July, 1603, aged 18; of Nunwell, Isle of Wight, student of Middle Temple 1604 (as son and heir of William, of West Deane, Sussex, esq.); deputy-governor of Portsmouth and of the Isle of Wight, knighted 22 Dec., 1615; M.P.
