Quarles, Edward; scholar of Pembroke Coll., Cambridge, B.A. 1618-19, fellow, M.A. 1622 (incorporated 13 July, 1624), B.D. 1629, admitted to Merchant Taylors' school 1608; bom in Oct., 1599, vicar of Little Abingdon, co. Cambridge, 1630, and rector of Wyke Regis, co. Dorset, 1631, canon of Southwell 1634, and of York 1637, rector of South Stoke, co.
