Rogers, John, s. Rich., of Dowdeswell, co. Gloucester, gent. Queen's Coll., matric. 24 Oct., 1707, aged 17; B.A. 1711; the rector of Dowdeswell 1713-68 is said to have been the son of John, of Dowdeswell, in Metcalfe's Gloucestershire Visitation, 1682, p. 146. See also Antony 1706 and Robert 1685.
