Rogers, Richard, of Sutton Vallence, Kent, said to be B.A. Oxon, and M.A. Cambridge 1552, B.D. 1562, rector of Great Chart 1566, and rector of Midley, Kent, 1569, and canon of St. Paul's 1566-94, archdeacon of St. Asaph, bishop suffragan of Dover 1568; died in Canterbury 19 May, 1597.
