Sacheverell, John. s. John, of East Stoke, Dorset, sacerd. New Inn Hall, matric. 1 Feb., 1632-3, aged 18, B.A. 3 July, 1636; rector of Langton Matravers, Dorset, 1646, and of Rimpton, Somerset, 1653 (his father, formerly Cheverell, rector of East Stoke 1614, son of John Cheverell, of Buckland, Dorset); served the cure or donative of Wincanton, silenced 1662, died in Dorchester gaol; brother of Timothy and grandfalher of Henry 1689.
