Standish, Henry, studied both at Oxford and Cambridge (D.D.), Franciscan friar; born at Standish, co. Lancaster, suffragan bishop with title of Camarensis, bishop of St. Asaph 1518, by Papal bull; died 9 July, 1535, buried in the house of the Franciscans, London.
