Oxford 1678-81); bar.-at-law, Inner Temple, 1682, treasurer 1719, recorder of Oxford 1688, and a justice of Wales; licenced 22 Aug., 1683, to marry Dorothy Dunch, of Radcott, Oxon, and again 22 June, 1687 (then a widower), to marry Dorothy Finch, of St. Clement Danes, Middlesex; father of John 1709, and of Martin.
