Wadham Coll., matric. 17 Nov., 1698, aged 16; bar.-at-law, Lincoln's Inn, 1705, chief justice court of common pleas, Ireland, 1724-6, lord chancellor of Ireland 1727, and a lord justice of that kingdom 8 times, created Baron Wyndham, of Finglas, in Ireland, 17 Sept., 1731, speaker of the Irish House of Lords; born 27 Dec., 1681; died 24 Nov., 1745; brother of John 1695.
