Bright, John Bright, s. Richard Betton, of Shrewsbury, Salop, gent. Christ Church, matric. 11 Oct., 1792 aged 19; B.A. 1796, M.A. 1799, assumed the surname and arms of Bright in lieu of Betton, by royal licence 12 Oct., 1807, on succeeding to the Tollerton estate, vicar of Lydbury North, Salop, died 22 Dec., 1833.
