Browne, John Cave, s. Roger Cave, of Eydon, Northants, arm. St. Mary Hall, matric. 31 Oct., 1749, aged 19; of Stretton-en-le-Field, co. Derby, was authorised to take the additional name of Browne by Act of Parliament 1752, died 2 Oct., 1798. See Foster's Baronetage, Cave.
