Cooke, Rev. Thomas Alexander, y.s. Richard Mathews, of Wargrave, Berks, arm. Trinity Coll., matric. 19 June, 1832, aged 17; B.A. 1836, M.A. 1839, of Polstead Hall, Suffolk, assumed the name of Cooke in lieu of Mathews by royal licence 1850.
