Dixon, Richard, s. Joshua, of Whitehaven, Cumberland, gent. Queen's Coll., matric. 3 Feb., 1796, aged 16; B.A. 1799, M.A. 1803, and fellow until 1829, tutor and junior bursar 1822, F.R.S., rector of Niton, Isle of Wight, 1828, until his death 13 May, 1858.
