Dormer, Sir Clement Cottrell, Knt., master of the Ceremonies, created D.C.L. 1 March, 1733 (as Cottrell), being then in the suite of the Prince of Orange; of Rousham Hall, Oxon, on the death of his cousin, General James Dormer, and assumed that surname, knighted 24 July, 1710 (son of Sir Charles Ludovicke Cottrell, Knt ), died 11 Oct., 1758.
