Bletchingley 1822-6, Sutherlandshire 1826-31, South Lancashire 1835, until created Earl of Ellesmere, etc., 1 July, 1846, K.G., assumed by R.L. 24 Aug., 1833, the surname of Egerton in lieu of Leveson-Gower, died 18 Feb., 1857.
