Estcourt, Thomas Henry Sutton (Sotheron), s. Thomas, of St. George's, Hanover Square, London, arm. Oriel Coll., matric. 11 May, 1818, aged 17; B.A. 1823, M.A. 1826, created D.C.L. 24 June, 1857, of Estcourt, co. Gloucester, and of Darrington, Yorks, of Lincoln's Inn 1824, M.P. Marlborough (March) 1829-33, Devizes Nov., 1835, to Feb., 1844, North Wiltshire Feb., 1844, to March, 1865, assumed the surname and arms of Sotheron only in 1839, but resumed his patronymic Estcourt in 1863, P.C. 1858, and president Poor Law Board, secretary of state for Home Department 1859, died 6 Jan., 1876.
