Farrer, (Sir) Thomas Henry (Bart.), 1s. Thomas, of London, arm. Balliol Coll., matric. 16 June, 1836, aged 16; B.A. 1841, of Abinger Hall, Surrey, J.P., bar.-at-law, Lincoln's Inn, 1844, permanent secretary Board of Trade until 1886, member of Council of University of London (retired 1870), letters patent were directed by the Queen to be passed granting him the dignity of a baronet (vide London Gazette, 16 Oct., 1883).
