Trinity Coll., matric. 24 Oct., 1810, aged 18; B.A. 1814, bar.-at-law, Lincoln's Inn, 1819, Q.C. 1838, a bencher 1839, judge-advocate-general 1847-9, P.C. 1848, financial and parliamentary secretary to the Treasury 1849-50, M.P.
